2. Description of Service

Readmigo is an AI-powered English reading and learning application that provides:

• Access to public domain books
• AI-assisted reading features (word explanations, translations, etc.)
• Vocabulary learning with spaced repetition
• Reading progress tracking
• Social features (quotes, postcards, author interactions)

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features, you must create an account using Apple Sign In, Google Sign In, or email registration. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Free and Premium Tiers

• Free Tier: Limited AI interactions, basic features
• Pro Tier: Unlimited AI interactions, advanced features
• Premium Tier: All features, priority support, exclusive content

4.2 Billing

• Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play
• Prices are displayed in your local currency
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid charges

4.3 Refunds

Refund requests are handled according to Apple App Store or Google Play policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Share your account with others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use automated means to access the Service
• Reproduce, duplicate, or resell the Service
• Upload malicious content or code
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Violate intellectual property rights

6. Content

6.1 Public Domain Books

The books in our library are sourced from public domain collections (Project Gutenberg, Standard Ebooks). These works are not subject to copyright.

6.2 AI-Generated Content

AI-generated explanations, translations, and other content are provided for educational purposes. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI responses.

6.3 User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you create (postcards, comments, etc.). By posting content, you grant us a license to display and distribute it within the Service.

6.4 Prohibited Content

Do not post content that is:

• Illegal or promotes illegal activities
• Hateful, discriminatory, or harassing
• Sexually explicit or violent
• Spam or advertising
• Infringing on others' intellectual property

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Rights

The Service, including its design, features, and technology, is owned by Readmigo and protected by intellectual property laws.

7.2 Your Rights

You retain ownership of your personal data and user-generated content. We do not claim ownership of your vocabulary lists or reading notes.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

8.2 AI Limitations

AI features may produce inaccurate or inappropriate responses. Do not rely solely on AI for critical decisions.

8.3 Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. Maintenance, updates, or technical issues may cause temporary unavailability.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, READMIGO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Readmigo from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes through the app or email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
